Come together in an inclusive ancestral charged three days in a unity of Nayri Niara and Mana O Kahiko. This gathering of indigenous ancestral knowledge and wisdom will be shared in the comfort and warmth of the Longhouse.
We invite you to bring your family, bring your friends and engage in a series of workshops dedicated to the preservation of traditional healing practices. Traditional Healing Foundation9.30am - 5pm
Join Kumu Pa’a Kawika in a day workshop on the foundations of traditional Hawaiian healing practices in our first Urban Workshop at the Longhouse. Come explore the indigenous understandings of true healing .Traditional healing foundation - the 8 Pillars that make an unshakeable foundation for life. It takes us into the realms of Spirit, the importance of pūle - prayer, and what means to live aloha. A lesson in unconditional love for self and others.Thursday 10th November
Traditional Healing Foundation

The second day of Traditional Healing Foundation - in-depth to the process and practices of our ancestors that form this foundation and align us to these teachings. What to do when we find ourselves blocked or unhappy and how to implement traditional values and ways of being into the way we live and work in healing today. Kumu Kawika will begin to explore healing touch and the true power of forgiveness.Friday 11th November

In a powerhouse final workshop we close with a deep dive exploration into traditional ho'oponopono. Discover the multi-layered processes and practices in building happy, healthy relationships.

An open invitation to join Nayri Niara and Mana O Kahiko for an evening of First Nations Ceremonies and Protocols with Mana O Kahiko & Ruth Langford.The Indigenous Medicines workshop is an exploration of a fully integrated traditional healing system and process that takes into consideration the entirety of a human-being - Their spiritual, mental and physical capacities. Through the Indigenous lens you'll discover the aspects of traditional knowledge that have been preserved and passed down through generations for the use of healing.

Ruth Langford and Kumu Pa'a Kawika guide an immersive day on-country and explore the healing of connection to Country. Come and experience the knowledge, history, and genealogy of these ancient cultures that are preserved in dance, chant, song, and stories. Ruth and Kumu will share the many significant values of traditional culture welcoming all who are inspired to learn and connect to country and her healing traditions. The ancestral knowledge of our people was handed from generation to generation through an oral tradition, students were chosen and placed into a school of learning; from that moment forward the student lived the teachings of their ancestors. Knowledge, history, and genealogy are preserved throughout time in dance, chant, song, and stories. On the island of Molokai, Hawaii from the valley of Halawa, this cultural practice is still alive.

We cannot accept responsibility for changes in your personal circumstances. Please choose trainings & retreats carefully. When circumstances permit: One month prior to course commencement provides 80% refund, two weeks prior permits 50% refund, & cancellation within two weeks of any course or retreat start date unfortunately, a refund cannot be given. All refunds will incur a $25 administration change per course. If Nayri Niara cancels a retreat, workshop or course a full refund will be provided.
