CHOSEN : lakapawa / TO BE SEEN.

lakapawa - means to be seen.

Five esteemed senior Aboriginal cultural practitioners acknowledged the next generation of Aboriginal artists they wanted to be seen. Due to covid in 2020, the normal presentation of artwork at the Darwin Aboriginal Artfair (DAAF) was cancelled, so Nayri Niara was delighted to host a live curated exhibition at The LongHouse & partnered with walantanalinany palingina & DAAF to deliver the online catalogue.
